What you might want to ask us.

Are you truly independent?

Yes. We don’t represent any shipyard, brand, or model. We advise buyers only.
You choose the yacht and the shipyard. We remain independent throughout the process.

Is this just “offsetting” the impact of owning a yacht?

No. We don’t frame marine protection as compensation for yacht ownership.
We fund and build real protection on the ground. The advisory business is one way we finance that work. Not a moral trade-off.

How are you paid if you don’t sell boats?

When a client buys a yacht, the shipyard pays us an industry standard advisory commission.
This does not change the price you pay and does not influence our recommendations.

Is the NGO independent from your yacht advisory business?

Yes in governance, no in mission.
The NGO is a separate non-profit entity with its own structure and purpose. We are part of it and involved in decision-making.

Do you push certain shipyards or models?

No. Our role is to narrow down options based on how you sail, live, invest, and plan to use your yacht.
Some shipyards may simply not be right for certain use cases - we’ll say that openly.

Can clients visit / be involved in the reserve?

Yes - when appropriate.
We want clients to see what real protection looks like, beyond concepts or labels.
Involvement is optional and never part of the sales process.

Why multihulls only?

Because that’s where our real expertise comes from.
We advise on yachts we have lived on, crossed oceans with, chartered, owned, and maintained ourselves.
Depth beats breadth.

We might make exceptions when the project aligns with our mission and capacity.

Is it fair to say no yacht is truly “green”?

Yes. Because even the most efficient yachts still carry a significant footprint when you account for materials, construction, use, and end of life.

How should I read sustainability claims in yachting?

With context. Many features reduce emissions in use, but they don’t reflect the full footprint of building and owning a yacht.

Am I paying extra to fund the marine reserve?

No. Protection is funded from our advisory commission - from our profit.
Your yacht price is the same as if you bought directly from a shipyard or dealer.

Because we work on the ocean, sail on the ocean, and live from the ocean.
Putting a solid part of our earnings into protection is simply how we choose to do business.

Why do you fund the reserve from your own profit?
When should I contact you in my buying process?

Ideally before approaching shipyards or dealers.
Shipyards register first contact, and prior registration will prevent us from being compensated for our advisory work.
